Clearview Lanes in Mount Joy Township has just completed major renovations, with the installation of a new scoring system and automatic bumpers.

The bowling center now has a full-featured entertainment system with large 42-inch screens and 24 lanes of automatic bumpers designed to appeal to kids, teens, families, adults and seniors as well as both league and open play bowlers.

The various themes include the Classic, which features over 200 animations, the Energy which is the fast and furious environment of extreme sports, Fairy Tales that features storybook backgrounds and a cast of crazy characters, and Prehistorica, which takes bowlers on a journey back into prehistoric time, to name a few. Seasonal themes and games include Christmas Joy, complete with a Christmas Wheel game and Halloween Hallopin.

Clearview Lanes would like the community to stop by and check out their improvements at an open house on Saturday, Sept. 17, and Sunday, Sept 18, from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., where everyone is welcome to visit and enjoy a free game of bowling.
